The Dragons then took control of the first half adding three more goals to take an Impressive 4-0 lead into the break. The second half was a much more even contest as the Scorpions put up a better performance but the damage had already been done.

🏉 #RugbyLeague | It was victory at last for the Dragons as there defence was greatly improved and they were able to score a few tries for themselves. The Scorpions started well with the first try before the Dragons hit back to take a 12-10 lead into half time. A tight second half saw the momentum go back and forth as the Scorpions started the half well before the Dragons fought there way back. A late try for the Scorpions gave them a chance to draw the match but a missed conversion gave the Dragons the win.
