The Australian Sliders Powerchair Hockey team travelled to Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre in Melbourne for the weekend. It was their final training camp before heading off to Italy for the IPCH World Championship 2018 which will take place in from 24 Sept – 1 Oct.
A special thank you goes out to Ben Hartung and Hockey Australia who presented each team member with a small gift as well as a signed bodysuit from the Hockeyroos! It was the teams third training camp after the team was selected in April earlier this year. Each athlete has been hard at work training and fundraising for the trip overseas.

The team also received their jerseys and the leadership group was announced. Our very own, Luke David was announced Captain. We wish the team the best of luck! Italy here they come!
